چکیده
During the last decade, use of inverse kinematics in experimental study fission is bringing a wealth new observables obtained single measurements, allowing their analysis and correlations. An ongoing application this technique basis series experiments performed with variable-mode, large-acceptance VAMOS++ spectrometer at GANIL. A recent experiment has been focused on survival nuclear structure effects high excitation energy quasi-fission. The full isotopic identification fragments, dynamics ratio between production fragments even odd atomic numbers, so-called proton even-odd effect, are shown. latter shows different mechanism for quasi-fission that could be used to separate from

Fusion and quasi-fission dynamics in nearly-symmetric reactions
Some nearly-symmetric fusion reactions are systematically investigated with the improved quantum molecular dynamics (ImQMD) model. By introducing two-body inelastic scattering in the Fermi constraint procedure, the stability of an individual nucleus and the description of fusion cross sections at energies near the Coulomb barrier can be further improved. Simultaneously, the quasi-fission proces...
متن کاملFission-Fusion Dynamics:
Nineteen scientists from different disciplines collaborated in highlighting new methodological and theoretical aspects in the re-emerging study area of fission-fusion dynamics. The renewed interest in this area is due to the recognition that such dynamics may create unique challenges for social interaction and distinctive selective pressures acting on underlying communicative and cognitive abil...
متن کاملFission dynamics within time-dependent Hartree-Fock: Boost-induced fission
Methods: Following upon the work presented in Ref. [1], quadrupole-constrained Hartree-Fock calculations are used to create a potential energy surface. An isomeric state and a state beyond the second barrier peak are excited by means of instantaneous as well as temporally extended gauge boosts with quadrupole shapes. The subsequent deexcitation is studied in a time-dependent Hartree-Fock simula...
متن کاملFission dynamics within time-dependent Hartree-Fock: deformation-induced fission
Studies of nuclear fission have been ongoing since the discovery of the process in 1938 by Hahn and Strassmann [1]. The actinide nuclide Pu has long been a case of interest, as spontaneous fission presents itself as a decay mechanism with significant probability, relative to other isotopes in the actinide region. This allows for quantitative comparisons between spontaneous and induced fission [...
متن کاملMitochondrial fission/fusion dynamics and apoptosis.
Mitochondria play an important role in the progression of apoptosis through the release of pro-apoptotic factors, such as cytochrome c, from the mitochondrial intermembrane space. During this process, mitochondrial networks are dramatically reorganised from long filamentous interconnected tubules into small punctate spheres. Whether remodelling of mitochondrial networks is necessary for apoptos...
